Mt. Kilimanjaro

Photobucket

So, Matt and Chris are in route to depart on an epic journey. More epic than your journey to the circus, more gnarly than your commute to the swamp for gator french-kissing lessons.

On January 23rd, Matt and Chris are heading to Tanzania to document the first female paraplegic attempting to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro. At 19,340ft in the air, Kilimanjaro is tallest free-standing mountain on the planet, and the highest point in Africa, earning it the name "The Roof of Africa".

The documentary Matt and Chris are filming is going to be called "Through the Roof". This documentary is for charity, which will benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation, and is made possible by long time friend Derek Gates of The C.H.E.K Institute.

You can view the trailer for the film, meet, and hear the girls stories below.

Don't forget to follow us while we climb @ www.throughtheroofmovie.com

If all goes well, we should be summiting at sunrise on the morning of February 1st (your night time). Wish us luck! We're gonna wave a nice big Choonimal shirt on the summit for all the world to see!

Love you all.
